The Newport Visual Arts Center, located at historic Nye Beach, is a City of Newport public art exhibition and art education space. The William Runyan Gallery occupies the first floor, exhibiting 12 shows per year. The Upstairs Gallery schedules 12 exhibits per year featuring new and experimental northwest artists. All exhibitions are free and open to the public.
